EFFECT OF FISH DENSITY AND FEEDING RATES ON GROWTH AND FOOD CONVERSION OF GILTHEAD SEABREAM (SPARUS AURATA LINNAEUS, 1758)

The effect of fish density and feeding rates on growth food conversion gilthead seabream (Sparus aurata) was studied in floating cages fiberglass tanks Sammaliah Island- Abu Dhabi. results experiment showed that there no significant effects (p>0.) rate but are (p<0.05) production (4.11, 7.47 10.08) kg/m3 for densities (50,100 150) fish/m3 respectively. No differences between weight ranges [(27-125), (21-142), (30-126)] g these at the end experiment, also final weights (82.3, 77.4, 67.2) (50,100,150) growth, while (1.43, 2.86 3.71) (5, 7.5 10)% Floating give better from (growth 0.64 g/day compared with 0.4 g/day, 7.31 4.58 75.6 45.8 g).
